ATTENTION EVERYONE

For All Charles County Residents:  Charles County is having a hearing on zoning permits for Data Centers, the Local could use your help

-We simply need you to show up at the zoning hearing at 6:00pm on Monday November 17.  We would like to flood the room with Tradesmen. If you do want to speak, just a few words on how you would like to work in your hometown or how these well-paying jobs and tax base are vital to the County.

-Prior to the hearing you are welcome to join us for some pizza and comradery. From 4:00pm to 5:45pm we will gather at the American Legion in LaPlata-  6330 Crain Hwy, La Plata, MD 20646

-Or you can just join us for the hearing at 6:00pm Monday November 17 at the Charles County Government Building 200 Baltimore St.  LaPlata, MD 20646

APPRENTICESHIP ENROLLMENT:  At present the enrollment process for our apprenticeship program will be on the 11 - 12 of December 2025.  You can apply in person on one of the two days in person @7 am at the JATC located at 2114 Fiddler Lane, Accokeek, MD or click the link IUOE Local 77 (iuoentf.training) to apply online on the dates stated.

IUOE 77 APP:  We do have a app for those looking to receive notifications and updates from the local and also have the ability to pay your dues via the app.  If you don't know what your dues currently are you can also pull up your profile in the app and it will reflect your pay thru date if you do not have your card stamped or can show a receipt.  You can pay up to 12 months at a time.  So look up IUOE 77 on your Android or IOS device today!

DC OPERATORS LICENSE.:  Any member who needs help with renewing their DC License that expired 9/30/2024, please call the hall.

RETIREE FIRST:   Retired members that need contact numbers for Retiree First: Local  301-591-3763 (TTY 711) or a toll free number  833-428-2153 (TTY 711).

TRAINING:  Any member that would like to upgrade their skills or get trained on other equipment or learn another piece of equipment, you can always call the JATC at 301-283-3476 Mon-Sat. or you can register on the International's website https://www.iuoe.org/training/international-training-and-education-center to learn about classes they may have available for other various equipment training. 

UNION MEETING:   We are have our regular Union Meetings at 6:30pm at the Union Hall the first Friday of every month, unless notified, for all members in Good Standings.  

IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENT WITH YOUR MONTHLY DUES THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THE HALL AND BECOME CURRENT BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ACCESS THE MEMBERS ONLY SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE.
